Course Prerequisites

  • Fundamental knowledge of Azure, equivalent to the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification (AZ-900), or hands-on experience with Azure services.
  • Basic understanding of software development processes and principles, ideally gained from working within a software development team.
  • Familiarity with Agile practices, including version control, Agile planning, and portfolio management using tools like Azure Boards.
  • Basic experience with source control systems such as Git and GitHub, along with an understanding of branching, pull requests, and merging strategies.
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) practices.
  • Understanding of core DevOps terminology and principles.
  • Experience with basic scripting and automation practices.
  • Awareness of fundamental security principles, including secure coding, compliance, and threat modeling.
